New publication: Insight into growing space requirements of common tree species in urban centres, parks and forests

Based on a world-wide dataset on 22 common urban tree species specific crown radius-stem diameter relationships have been detected. The derived relationships support species choice and initial spacing in urban and rural environments. In addition species functions and services can now better be assessed.
